James Edwards, Chancey Luna and Michael Jones

Murder of Australian Student in Oklahoma Not About Guns

by Lewis Loflin

The controversy over the shooting death of an Australian student in Oklahoma has the press once again in denial mode and censoring the facts. Rage over the incident has created a firestorm in Australia. Three more of President Obama's sons are looking at long prison sentences.

This appears to be another racially motivated black on white killing. To quote the www.dailymail.co.uk August 22, 2013:

The new jailhouse revelations came as tweets posted by one of the alleged killers emerged claiming that he 'hated white people' and boasting that he beat up five white people after the George Zimmerman acquittal in the Trayvon Martin case.

Suspect James Edwards 'danced and laughed' in the county jail and showed no remorse for their fatal actions, while Michael Jones, who is accused of driving the car when they shot Christopher Lane in the back admitted their role in the crime.

Why was there no hate crime charges?

Chris Lane was out jogging when three feral teenagers described by police as "bored" shot the young man in back as they drove by and left him to die. A bystander tried to help, but he was dead within an hour. According to the press, "Lane is a baseball player at East Central University in Ada and had only returned to Oklahoma from his native Australia three days prior to his death. He was staying with his girlfriend and her family in Duncan."

The tree killers had their race hidden in news reports at NPR, CNN, and Fox News always using the term the benign term "teenagers." Ranging in age from 15 to 17 the 17-year-old told police they were "bored" while the black civil rights community is once again silent.

Black liberals are trying to claim this is another gun control issue and not another "hated white people" issue.

Police didn't try the "gang related" excuse they often use saying, "Gangs shoot each other, they don't shoot people walking down the street."

James Edwards and Chancey Luna, 16, were charged with first degree murder and face life in prison if convicted. They were refused bail. Michael Jones, 17, was charged with using a vehicle to facilitate the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact of murder in the first degree.

Jennifer Luna (who is white) the mother of the 16-year-old said, "These are (gang) wannabes down here and they talk all this stuff and they are just young kids. This has nothing to do with gang-related. I just don't understand these kids, I really don't. I don't know why they had to prove a point, I just don't understand. I tell my kids all the time, 'Make something out of your lives because this is hard."'

Really Jennifer? And where is the father assuming you even know who he is? Any efforts to curtail out of control minority violence and lawlessness is attacked as racism and profiling and this is the result.

In Australia gun control advocates also missed the real cause of this crime as well and why not?

Former deputy prime minister Tim Fischer is telling Australians to stay away from America. When I went to www.news.com.au to verify his anti-gun statements and finally I got pictures of the alleged killers and I was right they were black. They weren't treating this with the degree of political correctness of the US press:

An Oklahoma court has been told how one of the boys accused of murdering Melbourne baseballer Chris Lane danced as he was being booked into jail. James Edwards, 15, was treating the murder as a joke, District Attorney Jason Hicks told an emotional hearing in Duncan, Oklahoma on Tuesday. "I believe he is a threat to the community," Mr Hicks said of Edwards. "He thinks this was a joke."

...Yesterday, former deputy prime minister Tim Fischer has urged Australian tourists to boycott the US in the wake of the shooting murder of the Melbourne baseball star. Mr Fischer said he was deeply angered by the latest tragedy and said turning our backs on America would help send a stern message about the need for tighter gun control.

Mr Fischer, who led Australia's gun control reforms alongside former prime minister John Howard in 1996, said choosing not to travel to the US would help build pressure on the US Congress to finally act.

"Tourists thinking of going to the USA should think twice," Mr Fischer said. "This is the bitter harvest and legacy of the policies of the NRA that even blocked background checks for people buying guns at gunshows. People should take this into account before going to the United States. I am deeply angry about this because of the callous attitude of the three teenagers (but) it's a sign of the proliferation of guns on the ground in the USA. There is a gun for almost every American."

His girlfriend Sarah Harper said,

"I don't want them to have any future that Chris wasn't able to have as well...I don't really care what happens to them. I feel that if they don't get what they deserve now in the present they will eternally. They're evil people and they'll be taken care of eventually."

This is not about guns but the violent sub-culture among certain groups such as blacks and it's time to stop derailing the issue.
